Who this is for
Anyone who finished at least TA-02 (or another agent module). Grab the decision card first — it's the worksheet for this whole lesson:
↓ Choose-your-agent card (PDF)
Prefer paper via browser? Print-ready HTML version (File → Print → Save as PDF).
Score what you installed
About 10 min
For each agent on your machine, answer three questions:
- Confirm the first run actually worked.
- Name which account pays for it.
- Say the command name from memory, without looking.
A “no” on any of these is a vote to uninstall, not a weekend project.
Write the decision line
About 5 min
Write exactly one of these — sticky-note size:
Decision lines — choose one
- → Daily driver: ___ ; backup: ___ ; uninstall: ___.
- → Daily driver: ___ ; no backup.
- → None — browser tools only; revisit date ___.
Uninstall the rest (or leave alone)
About 10 min
Use each vendor's uninstall docs (brew uninstall --cask …, WinGet uninstall, delete the installer's PATH entry). Don't half-delete by renaming random folders — that's how “command not found” mysteries are born.
Delete by renaming random folders or dragging app icons to Trash while the PATH entry stays. Use the vendor's uninstall — then confirm the command is truly gone.
Do this week
Complete one real coding or docs task with the daily driver only. Not a demo task. A real one.
Success check
- One daily-driver command you can run from memory
- Written decision line
- No unused agents cluttering “command not found” debugging
Don't buy / don't install yet
If nothing worked, don't buy a course — file the error text, check the OS matrix, or book help with a named failure. If everything worked but you have no coding task, stop installing tools; go find a real job (or the operator track).
Read operator Module 08 first — the tier decision works for subscriptions too. Then book the free consult if a build is actually the answer.
